More delights for the discerning gamer on the site. The Dreamcast leads the hardware battle with some delightful limited edition machines that would look chic on anyone's coffee table. Trizeal and the House of the Dead Gun Set forge the assault on the software front. Saturn owners are in for a treat with the elusive platformer Tryrush Deppy, King of Fighters 96 remonstrates SNK's command of the Saturn and G Vector demonstrates the 3D capability in the right hands. The PSX shows almost Saturn like hardcore gaming qualities in Makeruna Makendo 2, whilst we wouldn't mess with anyone in a white suit in Ichigeki Hagane no Hito. Capcom Fighting Jam cracks a few skulls on the PS2 whilst Genji does it with a sword and a bit of samurai class.

The Simple 2000 range continues to expand with B movie wannabe Daibijin and the Sega Ages collection continues on Sony's baby with Phantasy Star. New arrivals on most the Nintendo systems, but its the Super Famicom leading the way with an update of the PCE classic Super PC Kid 2, the adorable Syo the Seal and the FX Chip powered Wild Trax. Mind you little brother Famicom brings the nostalgia flooding back with Macross, Akira and the Japanese gem Ikki. Alien Storm, Arrow Flash and the expansive highways of Out Runners boost the Mega Drive section with a few CD's to unwind to in the Soundtracks section.

Japan trip

The recent buying trip to Japan unearthed some intriguing artifacts although we didn't get them for the store (yet.....!)

Could this be an early Famicom prototype that Gunpei Yokoi san was working on with built in Mintel like facilities? Maybe only Shigs himself knows the truth....?

Spring in your Step

Highlights on the Dreamcast include the Macross M3 Limited Edition Set and Death Crimson OX, as well as a nice discovery that's quite nasty in the survival horror genre… Highly collectable crackers Ninja Warriors and Anet Futatabi lead the charge on the Mega CD front with the slick Shadowrun restocking. The Saturn shines the beacon for retro gaming with a score of new additions including sensuous Super Real Mahjong PV, ThunderForce V, a rare Clockwork Knight package, the remaining Shining Force III Scenarios and some highly addictive puzzlers. Popular collectables such as Game Paradise, Policenauts, Donpachi and Bokan are back in stock.

Genki also cracks out the champagne as the Neo Geo AES gets a warm welcome to the site, along with Stellar Assault on the 32X. A few off-beat PS2 titles such as Zombie vs Ambulance head the Sony charge with Shikigami no Shiro II back in stock. Mirano's Arebeit Collection shows there is an abundance of Saturn style fan soft on the PSX as Ore no Ryori returns. Biohazards are welcomed to the GameCube coming in value memory card packs and doing nothing for Genki's nervous twitch. Hagane and Magic Sword show what the Super Famicom can do in the right hands. Drac's thankfully back on the PC Engine Super CD Rom in Dracula X as the PC FX gets a couple of hot, hentai additions. For the full low down please click here.

New additions

Plenty of new additions to the site and restocks for almost all formats. A few of the highlights include:

Weather Tales brightening up the PlayStation section as snap happy Photograph Boy 2 captures the spirit of the original perfectly on the PS2. The Mega Drive section had felt incomplete without Gunstar Heroes rated by some as Treasure's finest hour. Garou makes it mark on the Dreamcast as the braces loving Mayor kicks into action in the amazing Mega CD conversion of Final Fight. Super Play fave Raccoon Rascal causes mischief on the Super Famicom. Devil Crash heads up a few choice cuts added to the PC Engine section. Some real retro revival with Rolling Thunder on the Famicom and packing a power punch with Pocket Fighter on the WonderSwan. Suave shmup Steel Empire gets restored to its former glory on the GBA.
