Genki Greetings.
Gameside magazine makes a more substantial dent in Genki HQ this month and its mainly pinpoint lasers doing the damage from its vast array of vessels covered in its shoot 'em up related contents (albeit it backed up by a rocket launcher and whip from the Metal Slug and Castlevania issues respectively.)
A welcome return of certain XBox 360 shooters on the Grev label in Under Defeat HD, Senko no Rondo Duo & Mamoru Kun (Limited Edition.) Its a nice touch to use Dreamcast packaging for the Under Defeat HD bonus disks.
Gunhound EX on the PSP also heralds from the classy colt stable of Grev and brings back memories of Assault Suits Valken.
The Dragon Quest TV Sword Game makes a welcome return with its cosy, retro confines. Hard Edge is a top-tip on the PSX with the ever-youthful cast of Combat Queen on the PS2 still looking good in lycra.
The GameCube Keyboard Controller is a rare peripheral for the system and will make a fine collection capture, ditto the Mega Drive Arcade Power Stick.
Plenty of collection fillers on the Dreamcast and Saturn with the Neo Geo Mini back in (while stocks last...)
Happy Genki Gaming.
